Your financial support for MEC’s work is critical.

One of the most simple and efficient ways to donate to the Michigan Environmental Council is by contributing through Earth Share of Michigan in your workplace charity campaign. Earth Share of Michigan (ESMI) manages environmental giving campaigns in workplaces for state, national and international conservation charities.

GIVING IN THE WORKPLACE

By contributing to MEC through Earth Share of Michigan, you may pledge that a small amount of each paycheck be automatically deducted to help protect Michigan's environment. What's more, Earth Share of Michigan provides the option of giving a single gift that is distributed among all of its members, covering the widest variety of environmental and conservation issues. The choice is yours.

PARTICIPATING BUSINESSES

More and more companies now allow their employees to contribute to MEC through Earth Share of Michigan. Among them: Compuware, The Gap, Perrigo, American Airlines, Crystal Flash, Sears, C.S. Mott Foundation, Keane, Inc., Compaq, Capitol National Bank, and many more.

GIVING AS A STATE OR FEDERAL EMPLOYEE

As a member of Earth Share of Michigan, the Michigan Environmental Council participates annually in the State Employees Combined Campaign (SECC) for state employees throughout Michigan - as well Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) for employees of the federal government and the U.S. Military. If you are a state or federal employee, please look for the Michigan Environmental Council in your pledge booklet this fall.
